In the fall of 2019, a customer approached us with a new project.  They did not want a Select grade but also did not want an overabundance of knots either.  Long overall lengths were important to the homeowner, as well as consistent color and minimal sap.  When asked what type of home it would be going in, they said Modern Craftsman and a new custom grade was born.  Since that time, we have received numerous inquiries on this type of look as a replacement for Euro Oak.

The advantage of engineered reclaimed is that it extends a limited resource and also helps stabilize the material.
