With the Ligno-VersaTec you can choose the right measuring mode and the right accessories for the job on hand. It could be tracking moisture problems with a pin electrode or measuring humidity in a crawl space.

Floor installers can check a cupped floor using the dual-depth pinless mode. Pinless Search and Compare Mode is used when tracking moisture problems in walls, ceilings and floors. Lumber Processing Mills use the meter to make sure QC requirements are followed.

Pin and pinless side by side:  Large areas can be scanned fast and easy. Selectable measuring depth 1/4″ or 3/4″ allows for comparing moisture close to the surface and deeper down. Once a problem is detected, pin electrodes can be used for further investigations.

RH mode: Add RH BluePeg humidity probe to the Ligno-VersaTec and you have a precision thermo-hygrometer for RH, T, GPP, DPT. Add RH concrete accessories to perform in-situ moisture tests in concrete. RH BluePeg system complies with latest ASTM F-2170 standard.

The Ligno-Scanner SDM is the go-to meter for installers and inspectors. The Ligno-Scanner SDM is a non-invasive, dual-depth moisture meter for wood and building materials. The Ligno-Scanner SDM provides precise moisture percentages for a wide variety of wood species and other materials, but the meter can also be used for quick-scanning areas for high and low moisture levels.

The meter gives true moisture percentages for domestic and tropical wood species, OSB, sub floors, engineered floors, bamboo and gypsum (sheetrock wall board). Other building materials are checked with reference scales tailored to the products to be measured: wood composites, laminated panels, vinyl, textile, lightweight building materials and heavy building materials such as concrete, tile, stone, etc.

Calibration Stability: The Ligno-Scanner SDM has proven to be a trustworthy 
meter, which produces the same accurate moisture percentages today, tomorrow and in a year due to internal calibration checks. The calibration is checked before each measurement and if necessary, automatically adjusted. These “background checks” before measurements assure calibration consistency for Lignomat’s pinless meters. Manual recalibration by the customer is not necessary. To confirm calibration and functionality of the meter, Lignomat offers the external calibration check block TS for all pinless meters from Lignomat.

The Ligno-Duotec is offered in three packages:
as BW meter only ..... add RH probe (BW-B) ..... add accessories for concrete testing (BW-KM)

The BW can also function as a thermo-hygrometer to check ambient relative humidity and temperature and optional you can add accessories for RH in-situ testing in concrete slabs.

The data logger BL2Humidity data loggers provide more information than single readings from a thermo-hygrometer. Install a BL2 to keep track continuously.

–Relative humidity and ambient temperature
–DPT (dew point temperature)
–GPP (grains per pound)
–EMC (equilibrium moisture content for wood)

–Add MC Tracker to simultaneously record 1 RH probe and 3 wood
—moisture measuring probes.

When humidity matters: Each BL2 comes with the high-precision RH BluePeg Probe with long-term stability. The detachable RH Probe allows for inwall, in-depth monitoring. LED lights and audible alarms can be set to indicate out-of-range values. Selectable time-interval 30 sec to 24 hrs.

The BL2 records 16000 data sets. Reports show:
Relative Humidity, Temperature, Grains per Pound, Dew Point and EMC .

Specifically for Contractors and Restoration Specialists:
For job-site surveillance and long term monitoring. Alarms can be set to alert when unwanted conditions occur. 

Specifically for Wood: For customers concerned about wood moisture we added EMC values plus an EMC alarm. The alarm will sound when the humidity gets lower or higher than the preset alarm EMC value.
