Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers Inc. is a regional trade association of hardwood lumber manufacturers and distributors. Its mission is to promote the sustainability and legality of hardwood logs, lumber and products from the Appalachian Region of the eastern United States. Founded in 1928, AHMI has 200 member companies who provide the finest hardwood resources in the world. The group also has an active forestry division that oversees research and forest management programs.
