There isn’t a better floor than a 3/4" solid oak floor that has been finished with a customized stain. Compare ours to a prefinished floor that must use beveled edges in order to hide the imperfection of the fit. An unfinished floor is sanded smooth and then fully coated to create a stain and water resistant finish. It is a floor for a lifetime that can easily be sanded and turned anew after many years of wear and tear. Nothing beats a solid oak floor customized finish. That should come as no surprise as hardwood flooring has been made for hundreds of years.
