RALEIGH, NC, December 18, 2020 – Horizon Forest Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of Wood Pro Inc. (Auburn, MA) and Custom Wholesale (Jacksonville, FL) to the company.
Wood Pro was started with a focus on flooring contractors, selling unfinished flooring. Over time they expanded to other locations and, with growth, added many other product categories such as Prefinished Flooring, Tile Flooring, Sundries, Sanding and nailing machines, Laminate flooring, and Waterproof Vinyl. The addition of these lines enabled Wood Pro to expand into the Retailer segment. In 2006, Wood Pro acquired Custom Wholesale Floors, a 35-year-old company with 5 locations in Florida and Georgia. The Custom Wholesale Floors, or CWF, acquisition gave coverage in another strong region of the US flooring market, the Southeast.
