With the floor covering brand-name "HARO," Hamberger Flooring has grown to become Germany's market leader for Engineered Wood Floors. The flooring division offers engineered wood floors, cork and laminate floors, as well as the healthy living DISANO style floor. Hamberger was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 as early as 1995, followed in 1998 by the certification of its environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001. The new energy management system was integrated successfully into the existing environmental management system in 2013 with certification according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2011. Hamberger has been PEFC certified since 2002. The PEFC seal provides assurance that the raw materials from which Hamberger products are manufactured are sourced from certified, sustainably managed forests. Founded in 1866 Hamberger is managed by Peter Hamberger and Dr. Peter M. Hamberger, in the fourth and fifth generations. The Hamberger group of companies also includes Sports Flooring, Sanitary, Hardwood, Retail and Farming and Forestry divisions, with exports into more than 90 countries worldwide.
