Cameron Automation, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, is a division of the James L. Taylor Mfg. Co. In an effort to service customers and the industry better, Cameron Automation was developed in January 2002 to focus on the development of high tech machinery for the wood working industry. Cameron Automation builds machinery for automating and improving on some of your mill processes. Gang Ripping, Cross Cutting, Color Matching, Panel Sizing, and Nesting of Flooring, both Bundles and Packs, as well as Material Handling Conveyors to name a few. Known for our classic machine for laminating, the Taylor Clamp Carrier, the Cameron Line was designed to compliment our existing customers Clamp Carriers with the rough mill processing required to create material for glued up panels and parts. Cameron Machines are designed and manufactured in house here in Poughkeepsie, NY where we have been located for over 100 years. Our in house engineering and programming team constantly improve designs and features, and continually keep Cameron on the cutting edge of Rough Mill technology.
